This website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that your browser stores and that cause no harm. We use exclusively our own, technically necessary cookies. No third-party cookies are set.

PHPSESSID): It stores the language version of this website you have selected (German, English, French, Turkish, Arabic or Russian) so that you do not have to select it again on every subpage. The cookie contains only a randomly generated session identifier, no personal information. It is deleted automatically at the latest when the browser is closed.On the “Theory memory aid” page we additionally store an entry in your browser’s local storage (localStorage, key mh_nerd). It records solely whether you have switched the extended detail view on or off. This entry remains on your device, is not transmitted to us and allows no conclusions about your person. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.
The cookies named so far and the named entry in local storage are strictly necessary for the operation of the website in order to provide the functions you have expressly requested. They are therefore stored without your consent on the basis of Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). The associated processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing our offering in a technically error-free and user-friendly manner (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For this reason we do not request your consent separately via a cookie banner.
On the “Vehicle safety check for lorries & buses” page you can, if you wish, have your learning progress – that is, the check points you have ticked off – saved. This page stores nothing of its own accord. Only when you switch on the “Remember progress on this device” toggle yourself does your browser create an entry in local storage (localStorage, key ak_fortschritt_v1). It contains only a list of the ticked points (such as ak_1_1) – neither your name, nor an identifier of your person, nor a timestamp. The entry remains on your device and is at no point transmitted to us; no cookie is set for this. If you switch the toggle off again, the entry is deleted immediately and completely. Independently of that, you can remove it at any time via your browser settings.
The legal basis for this storage is your consent, which you give by switching on the toggle (Section 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by switching the toggle off; the lawfulness of the storage carried out until then remains unaffected. If you use the page without switching the toggle on, nothing is stored – your ticks then last only as long as you keep the page open.
Your usage behaviour is not analysed by third-party services. We do not use any external web analytics, tracking or advertising services, in particular no services such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or Matomo. However, we do carry out our own simple reach measurement on our own server; it is described below under “Reach measurement on our own server”. Nor are any external fonts, map services, video portals or social network content embedded; all content is delivered from our own server. The customer reviews shown on the home page are stored on our server and are not retrieved from Google at runtime.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies, allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies generally or in certain cases, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted; in particular, the language selection can then not be retained across several pages.

The basis for the data processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
In order to understand which content on our website is actually used, we carry out our own simple reach measurement. It runs exclusively on our own server; no third-party service is involved and the data do not leave our server. Each time a page is opened we store: date and time, the page opened, selected technical details from the address called up (such as the chosen language or the chosen section), the language version, the address of the page from which you reached us, any advertising identifier contained in the link you clicked (for example from a QR code on a flyer), the type of device you use (mobile phone, tablet or computer), the browser used, whether the access came from an automated program such as a search engine robot, an encrypted identifier of your session that changes daily, and your IP address. Information you enter into forms is not recorded. We also derive the approximate area (town, region and country) from the IP address. This happens exclusively on our own server using a file stored there; your IP address is not transmitted to anyone for this purpose. The information is an estimate and is not always accurate.
The purpose of the reach measurement is to design our offering to meet actual needs, to detect technical faults and to assess whether our advertising – such as a QR code on a flyer – is actually being used. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the error-free presentation and improvement of our website and in the economically sensible use of our advertising material.
We initially store your IP address in full so that we can detect and trace technical faults and abusive access. No later than seven days after the access it is shortened automatically – 84.123.45.6 becomes 84.123.45.0. After that it is no longer possible to draw conclusions about your person. We keep the remaining information beyond that point in order to compare developments over longer periods of time.
For this measurement we do not use any additional cookies and no permanent recognition features on your device; we use only the session that is required for the operation of the website in any case. These data are not merged with other data sources, nor are they passed on to third parties. The evaluation is accessible exclusively to our office via a password-protected login. This measurement is independent of the server log files of our provider described above.
You have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21(1) GDPR). An informal message by email to info@fahrschule-ziebarth.de or a phone call is sufficient. We will then stop recording your accesses and delete the entries belonging to you, as far as they can still be attributed.
If you book a further training course via this website, the details you provide in the booking form, including the contact details you enter there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the booking and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on without your consent.

If you send us enquiries via the contact form or by email, the details you provide in the enquiry form, including the contact details you enter there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as your enquiry is connected with the performance of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) where this has been requested.
The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
On the “Fine calculator” page we offer a free information tool which, based on a few details about a traffic offence (e.g. type of offence, speed driven, location), calculates a non-binding estimate of a possible fine, penalty points and driving ban according to the German catalogue of fines. Entering personal data is not necessary for this; please do not enter any personal details into the calculator.
Your entries are transmitted exclusively to our own server and passed on from there to our calculation service, which performs the calculation. There is no direct connection from your browser to an external service; no cookies are set for this and no data is stored permanently in your browser. For the duration of a session, a random transaction identifier is generated in the calculation service, under which the details provided are held for a maximum of 24 hours and then automatically discarded. There is no transfer to third parties.
The legal basis for the processing is our legitimate interest in providing this free information service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The result is an automated, non-binding estimate and does not constitute legal advice.
On the “Driving licence advisor” page we offer a free tool which, based on a few questions, gives you a non-binding assessment of which driving licence category may be suitable for you. Depending on your answers we ask, for example, for your age, the desired vehicle type and – if you would like to have a foreign driving licence converted – the country that issued your licence as well as the duration of your stay in Germany. You enter the issuing country in a text field which suggests matching countries while you type; this country list is delivered by our own server, and no connection to external services is made. Please do not enter any further personal details in this field. Providing the country and the duration of stay is voluntary – you can skip both questions and will then receive a more general assessment. No name or contact details are required for simply using the advisor. Your answers are evaluated exclusively in your browser; they are only transmitted to us once you subsequently submit the contact form.
If you then fill in the contact form to request a free consultation, we process the data you provide (form of address, first and last name, email address, telephone number, address [street, house number, postcode, town] as well as, optionally, driving licence categories you already hold, your preferred starting period and your message) for the purpose of contacting and advising you. Together with the form, the answers you gave in the advisor (including your age and – in the case of conversions – the issuing country of your driving licence and the duration of your stay in Germany, insofar as you provided these) are also transmitted to us so that we can advise you specifically. You can also open the form directly via the “Registration” button on one of our licence class pages, without going through the advisor. In that case, in addition to your form entries we only receive the licence class you selected so that we can assign your enquiry correctly – no advisor answers are collected.
To confirm your enquiry and to prevent misuse, we use a double opt-in procedure: we send a six-digit confirmation code to the email address you have provided. Only after this code has been entered correctly is your enquiry transmitted to us and stored by us. The code is held only temporarily in the session storage of our server.
The processing takes place on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give via the checkbox in the form, and – insofar as your enquiry serves to initiate a training contract – on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures). We do not pass your details on to third parties without your consent.
The verified enquiry remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent, or the purpose of storage no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected. You can withdraw consent you have given at any time informally by email.
On the pages “Professional driver with an education voucher”, “Truck licence with an education voucher” and “Bus licence with an education voucher” we provide a form with which you can request free advice. We process the details you enter: first and last name, telephone number, email address, the chosen training (truck, bus or undecided), the status of your funding and an optional message. The email address is required because we secure your enquiry with a confirmation code.
We use these details solely to process your enquiry and to contact you. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give via the checkbox in the form. The details are not passed on to third parties; in particular we do not transmit them to the Agentur für Arbeit or the Jobcenter.
To confirm your enquiry and to protect against abusive submissions we use a double opt-in procedure: we send a six-digit confirmation code to the email address you provided. Your enquiry only reaches us once you enter this code. Until then your details are held solely in the session on our server and are discarded after ten minutes or when you close your browser. If you do not enter the code, nothing reaches us.
Your enquiry is sent by email to our office and additionally stored on our server in an access-protected file so that no enquiry is lost. We also store the time, the page the enquiry came from and the language in which you used the site. To protect against mass abuse we additionally store a shortened, non-reversible check value of your IP address – the IP address itself is not stored. A technically necessary session, which ends when you close your browser, serves the same purpose.
We delete your details as soon as they are no longer required to process your enquiry, and at the latest six months after our last contact. If a training relationship is subsequently established, the statutory retention periods applicable to it apply.
